“In a time like this, listen first”
A school-based awareness activity built around listening to young people first, so prevention messages land with care rather than judgement.
Odavfrees is dedicated to early intervention, public awareness and community action that helps young people make informed, healthy and safe choices.

Campaigns against drug abuse and violence through education, advocacy and community engagement.
Our work is practical and people-centred: educate early, speak clearly about the risks, and support communities to act on what they already care about.
Campaigns and education that discourage hard drug use and strengthen informed decision-making.
Early engagement with students and youth groups, before harmful patterns begin.
Public sensitisation, partnerships and movement-building with stakeholders who care about wellbeing.
Messaging and activities that encourage peaceful, safe and healthy communities for everyone.
A snapshot of the outreach Odavfrees has been sharing with the public.

A school-based awareness activity built around listening to young people first, so prevention messages land with care rather than judgement.

Ongoing advocacy messaging that warns against substance abuse and chemical dependence, and points young people towards healthier choices.

Participation as an affiliate organisation in youth leadership and council-related gatherings, keeping young voices in the conversation.
Drug abuse and violence damage health, cut short education and limit opportunity. Reaching young people early and speaking honestly about the risks protects futures and strengthens whole communities.
These are the standards we hold our work to as we grow.
We put energy into what happens before harm occurs: early information, early conversation, early support.
Campaigns are designed with the schools, families and local leaders who know their communities best.
Schools, youth bodies, civil society groups and supporters can all plug into our work.
Our great plan is to build a modern, fully functioning rehabilitation centre in Imo State, a place where people recovering from drug abuse get real care and a real way back.
Today, under a long-term agreement with Ideato South LGA, we use their health centre facility. We are looking for sponsors to renovate and equip that place so it becomes fully functioning, as the first step towards the centre we intend to build.
Tell us about your school, youth group or community, and let’s plan an awareness session together.
